Samsung is yet to officially launch their Honeycomb tablet challenger into the US market. Today, the Korean giant have officially announced that their Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be launching the in the US first via Best Buy (New York) in June 8th and will be followed by a nationwide launching on June 17th. The device was first unveiled during MWC 2011 and went to a lot of, I should say, changes along the way.
We all know what the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is right? It's specs (which I will be listing below) and how thin and light it is. The question really is, Google have recently launched and unveiled the next version of Android Honeycomb, that's 3.1. Will the Galaxy Tab 10.1 still ship with 3.0 in it or will it be shipped with Android 3.1 Honeycomb already in tow? Well, here's a snippet from Samsung's press release:

Good to know that it will be shipping with the latest version of the Honyecomb platform. Now for some good stuff from the tablet.

Samsung Media Hub
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 software upgrade will introduce the evolution of Samsung's popular movie and TV content service, known as Media Hub. Media Hub has been redesigned with a new user interface for even easier downloads of rented or purchased content. The new version of Media Hub also includes an HD Extender which allows the user to playback Media Hub content on TV through an HDMI cable from the Galaxy Tab 10.1 dock or adaptor.
Readers Hub & Social Hub
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will also gain access to Samsung's Readers Hub service, which is a robust library filled with more than 2.2 million books, 2,000 newspapers and 2,300 magazines.
