Acer W4 Windows Phone Mango smartphone showcased at Computex 2011

Although the smartphone is clearly not turned on, since its only a mock up of the Acer W4, I think this is the first time that a Windows Phone that will be launched running Mango is seen, officially by the public. Anyway, the smartphone is on display in Taiwan at Computex 2011 and as far as my own opinion goes, this smartphone is decent. I mean, it has simple in design and not so many fancy stuff going on around it, which I like.

According to that photo, the Acer W4 will be sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255  processor, 3.6" (480 x 800) touchscreen display, up to 8GB of internal storage, 5MP rear facing camera with auto-focus, and DLNA.

The phone will also feature all the connectivity essentials a smartphone of today should have, like WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR. Acer will surely announce this smartphone as soon as the Windows Phone Mango version is launched. So until then, its a waiting game for us.
