Acer Iconia M500 is the A500 with MeeGo in it

Acer did not say it, obviously, but if you've seen the Acer Iconia A500, then you'd immediately say that the tablet in the photo is the A500. Well, its not. That is the Acer Iconia M500 and yup it runs on MeeGo. It will be the first of the M series from Acer. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom (Moorestown) processor, which I believe, means more power for you.

Aside from the design and the look of the tablet, the M500 shares the same screen resolution as that of the A500 at 1280 x 800. The MeeGo platform is layered by Acer's own UI ("snackable UI"). With regards to the tablet's availability and pricing, no word about it but Acer's Assistant Vice President Mr. Lee, the tablet will not be available by the end of this year.
