UK: Confirmed UK will be getting the Samsung Galaxy S II with the Exynos processor

Remember the blog post I published regarding the device's confirmation about it's processor? It's already been talked about, since we knew that some GS IIs (Galaxy S II) will be shipping with the nVidia Tegra 2 processor and those are just 1GHz dual-core chips. The newly announced and pumped up version of GS II is confirmed to be sporting the 1.2Ghz dual-core processor. But Samsung have already confirmed that the UK and the Indian markets will be getting the 1.2Ghz powered GS II.

If you noticed the Press Release on Samsung's announcement about the device's launching in the UK, it only stated "1.2GHz dual-core processor". They did not mention which processor will be in the device. I doubt that it would be an nVidia chip but to make my theory more solid Clove have confirmed that the GS II coming, at least, in the UK will be sporting Samsung's Exynos 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

"This has been a hot topic of conversation over the last month or so but finally we have confirmation of the Samsung Galaxy S II specs that remained to be clarified. Having spoken to the UK Product Manager for the Samsung Galaxy S II, we can confirm that UK stock will ship with the following:
1. Samsung Dual Core Exynos CPU (not NVidia Tegra 2)
2. 3G frequencies are 850/900/1900/2100 (Quad band)
3. Display is Super AMOLED Plus
4. Box contents: Handset, battery, charger, USB cable, headset, Quick start guide." - Clove
