The world's first dual-core powered smartphone, the LG Optimus 2X, is now available in the UK! The phone was first launched on it's home turf in South Korea and then the Aussies were next to get it. In the US, it will be called the T-Mobile G2X. Today, the Brits gets the chance to get the smartphone as it is now and have arrived on their shores.
Two retailers are currently offering the device. Clove prices the LG Optimus 2X for £444 (including VAT) and Expansys prices it at £454.99. Both will be SIM-free and unlocked and both says that the device are in stock (apparently). Expansys on the other hand, allows you to get the smartphone on contract with Vodafone which will be free on plans starting from £30 per month.
As a refresher, the smartphone sports the 1GHz nVidia dual-core Tegra 2 processor, Android 2.2 Froyo, a 4" WVGA touch screen display, HSPA, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, HDMI, an 8MP rear facing camera, and full HD video recording at 1080p.
So, who's getting one?
