Google updates Google Chrome, opens the WebStore and unviels Chrome OS

Google reports about their Google Chrome, their challenger in the browser market. They reported that the number of people using Google Chrome as their browser of choice have tripled from 40 million to 120 million. Speed is what drives people to choose Chrome and that's undeniable. The design and the simplicity of it all just comes as a bonus. They have released Chrome 8 and it can run complex JavaScript programs "twice as fast".

Google have also opened for business their WebStore where you can get apps. The store is "prominently"  featured in Chrome and is still only available in the US but will eventually end up to other countries early next year.

Google have also given us a sneak peek of their Chrome OS. An Operating System that is basically for web. Chrome OS is an operating system on a browser, if you want to think of it that way. The way the OS looks is like the Chrome you know as the browser. On this note, the OS will allow computers to work faster, simpler,  and "more secure".

Another Operating System that will certainly make a mark in the world. Windows and Mac, do they need to be worried or not at all?
