Announced by no other than Google, the Nexus S, is availabe in the US in December 16th either on a contract with T-Mobile or unlocked. Best Buy announced that they will be offering the Nexus S with that wonderful Contour Display for $199 on contract with T-Mobile or get it unlocked for $529.
Over in the UK the phone will be available in December 20th at Carphone Warehouse for £549 unlocked. If that's a bit out of your budget then get it for free with a £35 per month contract with T-Mobile UK or Vodafone for 2 years.
