AT&T Dell Streak gets Android 2.2 Froyo update

The Dell Streak was launched and shipped with Android 1.6 Donut running in it. For those who have the unlocked version of the Dell Streak they got their Android 2.2 Froyo update already but how about those Dell Streak owners with AT&T branding on them?

No worries AT&T and Dell have already started to roll out the OTA Android updates to AT&T Dell Streaks. The update, just like the unlocked version has with it Dell's new Dell Stage UI overlay. The UI comes in landscape and portrait views compared to the original Stage UI that only came with a landscape view. Swype is also included in the update.

Some minor changes too from AT&T is the presence of the letter H on their network indicator which means that the smartphone/tablet is connected on HSPA compared to before where it never goes beyond 3G.

Since the update is OTA, you do not need a computer to update your streaks.
