Tablets everywhere, now LG announces their Optimus Pad
Photo grabbed from Endgadget
Tablets are really everywhere. Apple's got one, the iPad. ViewSonic has one, ViewPad. Samsung will have one, the Galaxy Tab. Acer will also make one. Lenovo will make an LePad. HP will make two slates. Dell with their Dell Streak. Motorola with their Stingray. RIM (BlackBerry) with their BlackPad. Asus has their tablet too. Now, the latest will be LG, with their Optimus Pad.
Oh yeah baby, tablets are really trying to get a chunk of the buying public and I am sure this is not the end of it. LG, prior to the IFA Berlin show has announced their Optimus Pad that'll be running on Android which will logically be an Android 2.2 Froyo. They said that it will be thinner and better than their competitor's tablets and has its "many first". I'm curious with the "many first" there what could they be. I'll keep you updated with the development of this tablet, promise.
