News Corp is open for the possibility of Myspace's sale

It has been five year since News Corporation have spent $580 million to buy Myspace and today they, by a News Coprp representative, say that they are open for the possible sale of Myspace. The once master in social networking is truly not doing good in recent years, thanks to the social networking site behemoth, Facebook.

Although Myspace have tried to keep standing, Facebook is simply not stopping. With 500 million plus users to boast, it is currently the world's largest social networking site today and of all time.

Rumors were already circulating back then that Myspace is closing down but that did not stop them from doing everything they can to keep running, even if the site is already a News Corp expense. Revamping of the site and using Facebook connect might have helped a bit but not as what they have expected. Oh well, it seems that Myspace's time is really coming to an end then. With a News Copr exec saying that they are open for the sale of Myspace? That is not looking good for the social networking site. We'll see what happens in the future.
