What might Microsoft do to infected PCs

Nobody wants their computers to be infected with a malware or a virus right? So what are you gonna do if your PC gets infected? You run your anti-virus or check if it's still working and up to date. Microsoft made a brilliant idea on what to do on infected PCs.

Microsoft compared an infected PC to a sick person. If the person was not given a vaccine and got a disease or what not, then he or she will be quarantined, if needed, just like what happened to the SARS out break. By quarantining a patient it will reduce the risk or completely eliminate the chance of that patient to spread the disease he acquired.  Are you getting what Microsoft is doing in order to make the world a virus-free world? If you are then good.
"Quarantining infected computers doesn't exactly sound like an easy feat, but Microsoft has a plan. It wants to implement a "health check" that confirms whether a computer is ready to connect to the Internet:"
"Although the conditions to be checked may change over time, current experience suggests that such health checks should ensure that software patches are applied, a firewall is installed and configured correctly, an antivirus program with current signatures is running, and the machine is not currently infected with known malware."
So this means, that if your PC is infected it won't be able to connect to the internet. Worst if you don't have the necessary software to keep your computer virus-free, like a properly configured firewall, and an anti-virus programs that is basically updated with the latest virus definitions. This is Microsoft's way of keeping the internet a safer place which, I think, is brilliant.
