Verizon already has that usual PDF stuff on the carrier's support site. Also, the update will be done OTA so your Galaxy Tabs should notify you of an available software ready to be installed into your device. Click here to check out what the update will be bringing into your Galaxy Tab and here for the instructions on how to do the update.

Google+ app updated gets a revamp with ICS in mind
Google has released an update to their Google+ app. The app is now available over at the Android Market. The update not only includes a revamped UI but it also brings in general bug fixes and performance enhancement. I was able to check out the new app and get a go with it. One thing I noticed is that it is generally faster to navigate around it and it just feels a bit faster than the older version.

Facebook for Windows Phone receives an update which will make the application work with the latest iteration of Microsoft's mobile platform, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. This version of the app features toast and tile notification so you won't have to miss a thing from your friends on Facebook. The application can now be downloaded from the Marketplace here. The app does not require your phone to be at the Mango version of the platform for you to install and use it.

USA: AT&T announces their first 4G LTE smartphones - Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid
AT&T announced their first 4G LTE smartphone today, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket (long names again) and the HTC Vivid. The two new Android smartphone that AT&T will soon be launching will be sold for $199.99 for the HTC Vivid and $249.99 for the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. The HTC Vivid is AT&T's version of the previously announced HTC Raider in South Korea. The Galaxy II Skyrocket on the other hand has been changed in terms of design. The SGS II Skyrocket you see in the photo above is a bit different from what is on Samsung's USA website. The Skyrocket is a bit curvy on the edges and sports a larger screen. Both devices, by the way, will be available in the US in November 6. Anyway, head over the break for the device's specs.

Acer's first Windows Phone smartphone launched in France - Acer Allegro
Back at the IFA 2011 in Berlin, there was a smartphone running on Windows Phone Mango displayed at Acer's booth. The smartphone was called as the Acer W4, which apparently will be Acer's first venture into the Windows Phone world. In France, it seems that the W4 was announced in France as the Acer Allegro and will be sold in the country for €299. So, what's up with this smartphone? What is it's selling point or should I say what makes this different from the other Windows Phone 7 smartphones out there? Acer put their fast charge technology in it allowing you to charge the smartphone 2.5 times faster than what the industry does. Anyway, head over the break for the device's specs.
