Samsung USA to officially launch the Galaxy Note II on October 24

Samsung USA has announced that on October 24 in New York City, the Korean-based phone maker will be announcing The Next Big Thing. Although they have already unveiled the Galaxy Note II to the world back at MWC 2012, this will be special because Samsung will officially unveil the device in a market where devices like smartphones and tablets are a hit. So, for those who are in the US, October 24 is the date you want to mark on your calendars. I will be blogging about it. Cheers!

Samsung in August 29 will unveil the next Galaxy device - Galaxy Note 2?

In Berlin, Germany, during the IFA 2012, Samsung will be unveiling their next Galaxy device in their Unpacked event. The date is set for August 29th and we know that when its a Samsung Unpacked event there is something huge coming. So which huge device will be unveiled? The successor to the Galaxy Note, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, has been doing the rounds at the rumor-mill for quite a time now and this device is what I think Sammy will showcase during this event.

UK: Samsung to launch the Galaxy Note in London on October 27th

Samsung has sent out invites, I think, of their Galaxy Note launching on October 27th in London. The smartphone/tablet was first announced during IFA 2011 in Berlin which sports a huge 5.3" display. This will be device's first world launch and yet again, the Brits get it first. By that time we will be able to know the pricing of the device and maybe which carrier in the UK will be offering it. Mark you calendars.

The Galaxy Nexus will be available in two versions (both of which are 4G capable) the LTE and the HSPA+ version. This was suppose to happen at CTIA 2011 in San Diego, California, but then it was postponed for some reason. Anyway, Samsung is pushing the announcement of something with Android Ice Cream Sandwich come October 19. Still, it will be an event by Google and Samsung and on 10AM HKT (10PM EST) something big is coming. You saw their video teaser right? Who's excited now?

Samsung's Unpacked event postponed out of respect to Steve Jobs

Nexus Prime mock up
The supposedly scheduled Samsung Unpacked event in October 11 during CTIA 2011 in San Diego, California, is postponed to a day and venue we still do not know of. Samsung has released an announcement that they will be moving the said event and that they "will announce a new date and venue in due course." Furthermore, Samsung said that "both parties [Samsung and Google] have agreed that this is not the appropriate time for the announcement of a new product." Whatever the reason behind this postponed event,  if it is really just a delay in the production of the device to be unveiled or if the reason is to respect the passing of one of the world's greatest person to ever walk on it, Steve Jobs, then it is accepted and appreciated.

Samsung will announced something BIG - Google Nexus Prime?

Samsung on October 11, 2011 in San Diego is bound to announced "Something BIG". This event will be another of those Unpacked events that Samsung had been having and it all started back in MWC 2011 in Barcelona, Spain where they unveiled the Galaxy S II. Anyway, Google will be with them on this event and by that and by the video and the silhouette of a phone that has a concave display suggests that this is definitely the Google Nexus S. Head over the break to check out the video.

USA: Samsung postponed a May 24th event to an unknown date

Samsung was suppose to hold an event in New York City come May 24th but it seems they have postponed that said event to an unknown date. Probably the Korean giant will announce and unveil the Samsung Galaxy S II in the US market. So far, we know that the Galaxy S II will be carried by 3 carriers in the US: Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. Also, BGR is pitching, the possibility that the company will also be announcing the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the US. Until Samsung makes that event happen we are here to guess what that event is for. So stay tuned for updates.
