PHIL: Asus launches the UX21 Zenbook starting at Php 53,995

Asus has launched the Asus UX21 Zenbook (Ultrabook) and has priced it starting at Php 53,995. Although this is not the first Ultrabook to make it in the Philippine market, since the Acer Aspire S3 is already selling in the country, Asus still has to dwell into this market. Asus is offering to variants of the Zenbook. The first is priced for 53,995 (UX21) and for Php 59,995 (UX31).

I simply can't ignore this. Asus announced another laptop at Computex 2011. This time it's the Asus Eee PC UX21 and is bound to be the thinnest laptop in the world. I've done the calculations. The Samsung Series 9 is the current holder of being the world's thinnest. Being 0.68 inches thin at the thickest part of the laptop (17.272mm). Asus is saying that the Eee PC UX21 will be only 17mm at its thickest part, making it the world's thinnest.
