Samsung unveils their 9 Series laptop takes on the MacBook Air

It's the Samsung Series 9 9 Series laptop, unveiled ahead of Samsung's CES press conference, the Series 9 9 Series is bound to be the world's thinnest and lightest laptop. So much of the Apple MacBook Air craze then, shall we?

Well it's not really the thinnest but this laptop at it's thickest point measures 0.68 inch exactly like the MacBook Air. what sets this laptop apart from the MacBook Air is the weight, although it might not be noticeable when your carry both but Samsung says that this laptop weights just 2.89 pounds while the MacBook Air weights 2.9 pounds.

Samsung has done an amazing job with this laptop, they were able to cram good stuff inside it that other companies have problems doing. It may not have any optical drives but the 9 Series has Ethernet,  HDMI output, USB sockets, and a headset jack. Samsung inserts a new Intel Core i5 2537M processor, which is the second generation of Core processors from Intel), 128 GB SSD, and 4GB of RAM.
"Not enough for you? Its backlit keyboard, 400 nit LED-backlit display, and two 1.5-watt speakers and a sub-woofer should seal the deal." - Endgadget
The notebook will cost you around $1,600 and unfortunately, Samsung have not yet supplied us with a release date for the device.
