Adobe now brings Flash content to the iPhone and the iPad

Yes, you know the story between Apple and Adobe right? Apple does not like the technology and does not want it into their iOS devices. During the IBC trade show in Amsterdam, though, Adobe announced Adobe Media Server 4.5 and Adobe Flash Access 3.0. What does that mean? Well, I really am not sure but one sure thing I can say out from this is the fact that the company is now bringing Flash content to the iPhone and the iPad. Adobe Flash 10.3 officially released to Android and to desktops

Adobe have released the next version of Flash Player! Version 10.3 is now available via the Android Market and also for desktops. The update brings in bug fixes and enhancements for compatible devices. Endgadget notes that the most noticeable bug fixes that this version brings in is for "NEON optimizations for OMAP4 (or Cortex A-9) processors" which is "good news" for BlackBerry PlayBook owners. If you don't have the PlayBook then "you can expect to find the usual batch of security improvements, and a few fixes for specific problems on Galaxy S phones, the HTC Evo, and various Motorola devices."

Flash 10.2 gets updated includes hardware acceleration to videos and improves browser integration

Adobe updated their Flash Player on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb platform (that means Android tablets sans the first gen Galaxy Tab). The update includes hardware acceleration for video and an enhanced browser integration. But what really is amazing here is the version of Honeycomb on the app's description at the Android Market. It says Android 3.1 Honeycomb. Is it an error?

Adobe Flash 10.2 is now available from Android Market

Adobe's Flash 10.2 for Android is now available for download over at the Android Market. This does not come as a surprise for us since the company announced it and said that it will first be made available for the Android 3.0 OS. The most obvious though is that they also announced where and when you can get the software.

Adobe Flash 10.2 to be available via Android Market on March 18

Flash 10.2 is already available for Mac, Linux and Windows. The question really is, when it will be available for mobile devices? Adobe have announced back in February that the said version of Flash will be available for mobile devices. The announcement did not come with an exact date. Well, it was just meant to inform us that Flash 10.2 is coming to mobile devices.

Adobe Flash 10.2 will come to the Motorola Xoom "within a few weeks"

Verizon announced that the Motorola Xoom will be launched without Flash 10.1 preinstalled into the device but Adobe did not let prospective Motorola Xoom buyers down. They have posted on their blog that instead of porting Flash 10.1 into the Xoom they will be making the 10.2 version of the software available for the tablet.

Adobe confirms Flash 10.2 availability to mobile devices

At the Mobile World Congress 2011, Adobe have confirmed and announced their latest version of Flash, Flash 10.2 which is now available for PCs, will be coming to mobile devices. Android 3.0 Honeycomb and the BlackBerry Playbook will be the first to get a taste of the 10.2 version of the software for now.

"Flash 10.2 will feature Stage Video, which is an optimized video performance which will decrease processor and memory usage, increase frame rates and overall video quality, and save up to 80% in CPU usage. If this is standard in 10.2, that is very impressive in terms of overall performance." - UV

Adobe Flash Player 10.2 gets out of beta phase now ready for download

Adobe have finally released Flash Player 10.2 and finally out of it's beta phase. The new update or version of Flash Player marks Adobe's termination of support to Windows 2000 OS and PowerPC-based Macs. If you are still running on both OS-es then you will just have to like Flash 10.1 and miss the new cool features of 10.2.

Adobe outs Adobe Flash 10.2 beta

Adobe just released their Flash 10.2 beta for download. What's new with this version? It is said that it will be the version of Flash that completes the move to hardware accelerated video playbacks using your browsers. Although the current version of Flash (10.1) already supports hardware acceleration which basically means that your GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) will get a share of work when watching videos in browsers, Flash 10.2 will completely give the job to the GPU with the help of the Stage Video API. This API will ultimately give "zero" CPU utilization (when playing videos) and "the entire workload" will be given to the GPU, which means better performance.

Mac, Linux, and Windows are all supported with this beta version. Download the latest beta version of Flash from Adobe Labs and try it out for yourselves

Adobe officially confirms Flash 10.1 support on Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry, WebOS and more

So Adobe finally made things official with the Flash 10.1 support on devices. Adobe announced it during the Max Conference. I'll post a snippet from Adobe about the Flash 10.1 support and which OS will be getting it.

"Flash Player 10.1 is available on Android and Google TV today, with BlackBerry platform, HP webOS 2.0, future versions of Windows® Phone, LiMo, MeeGo, and Symbian OS also expected to support Flash Player 10.1"

Here is the list of devices that are currently supporting Flash 10.1 and  upcoming devices that will get it.
