Adobe Flash 10.2 will come to the Motorola Xoom "within a few weeks"

Verizon announced that the Motorola Xoom will be launched without Flash 10.1 preinstalled into the device but Adobe did not let prospective Motorola Xoom buyers down. They have posted on their blog that instead of porting Flash 10.1 into the Xoom they will be making the 10.2 version of the software available for the tablet.

"Adobe will offer Flash Player 10.2 preinstalled on some tablets and as an OTA download on others within a few weeks of Android 3 (Honeycomb) devices becoming available, the first of which is expected to be the Motorola Xoom."

The software will not come preinstalled but at least we know that Flash will soon be available for the tablet.
