Acer unveiled the Acer Iconia W3 Windows 8 tablet

The world's first 8-inch Windows 8 tablet was announced by Acer and is dubbed as the Acer Iconia W3. Being the world's first 8-incher W8 tablet it might own the market for a while before anybody else out there with another 8-incher. In terms of design, I believe Acer did a brilliant job with W3 and it sitting on that keyboard dock, stunning. According to GSMArena, the device will be launched starting June in the UK (base on the currency the blog used). Prolly it will also be launched somewhere else on the same month.

Now for the specs. Since Acer did not provided a detailed list of the specs I will just be writing whatever specs I can find. The Iconia W3 sports an 8.1" (1280x800) display and is powered by an Intel Atom Z2760 processor. The device will come with either a 32GB or 64GB of internal storage which comes with a 2MP rear facing camera and also in the front. It also sports all of the necessary connectivity features like all tablets do like WiFi, Bluetooh, GPS, a microUSB port and an HDMI port.
