It's not only Toshiba that put inserted an AMD Zacate in a notebook MSI also had that in mind by putting the APU on the MSI CR650 notebook. The AMD Zacate is an APU or Accelerated Processing Unit which basically means a CPU and a GPU in one chip making this technology perfect for netbooks or ultraportables. But Toshiba and MSI thinks otherwise.
The MSI CR650 features a 15.6" and has the AMD Zacate E-650 CPU with an ATI HD Radeo g6310 graphics. Aside from the very unusual path that MSI took with this notebook the 15.6" system has the necessary stuff in it like a DVD drive, a 6-cell battery, an HD webcam, and speakers that is said to have superior SRS surround technology. The laptop is offered with either a 250 GB, 320 GB, or a 500 GB hard disk drive for storage and DDR3 RAM.
Endgadget has put an estimated price of $600 so we should expect it to be within that price range.
