Panasonic have announced their own version of a tablet challenger, the Panasonic ToughBook. The ToughBook is scheduled to be launched in the 4th quarter of this year and will be running on Google's Android OS. Which version of the platform will Panasonic be using? No word but I believe it will be Honeycomb or Ice Cream Sandwhich the platform that combines Gingerbread and Honeycomb.
The tablet sports a 10.1" XGA (1024 x 768) touchscreen display, active stylus, GPS, optional 3G/4G connectivity, and the screen is said to be "daylight viewable".
