A new entrant to the world of tablets, Archos, have unveiled not only one but two differently sized Honeycomb tablets that are set to become another player in the slew of tablets currently in the market. Archos ain't just announcing another tablet, they are actually announcing the world's most powerful dual-core tablet to date. Yes, you read that right, so head over the break to check the details.
First we have the Archos 101 G9 tablet sports a 10.1" (1280 x 800) touchscreen display. The tablets really does not differ much in terms of specs so here goes the other stuff in the tablets. The G9s also sports a 1.5GHz TI OMAP4 dual-core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, HDMI out, kickstand, a front facing camera capable of 720p video calls, and a choice between a 16GB flash storage or a 250GB Hard Drive (which is a stunner). The G9s will come with a microSD card slot but this will only be available with those G9s that have a flash storage in them.
The 80 G9 on the other hand has an 8" (1024 x 768) touchscreen display and everything that the 101 G9 has the 80 G9 will also have like the 1.5GHz dual-core processor by TI.
These tablets will also run on Android 3.1 Honeycomb and will also have this very unique feature. At it's back there's a "concealed" USB port that is perfectly designed for the Archos 3G USB stick for your on-the-move mobile internet usage. There's a video about the tablets, watch it an be amazed.
