The Google Nexus S, made by Samsung, was never announced officially in the Philippines. Well of course, you gotta give it to the grey market for making it available in the country way ahead of it's official launching. But amazingly, the phone pops up on Globe's post-paid plan page. Yes! Silently, Globe is offering the smartphone for free with plan 2499.
Is this the sign of the phone being launched in the Philippines officially? I do hope so.
YugaTech, is noting that the Philippines is not yet listed on the Nexus S' official webpage. But I do believe that this is the sign of the phone's very late official launching in the country and I do hope they do it soon.
You might want to check out Globe's website to see for yourself that, indeed, the phone is there listed.
