Aside from the Pantech Vega Racer, the Korean phone manufacturer also showed off a gigantic smartphone bound to be launched in South Korea. When I say gigantic, it means a 5" touchscreen display. Which the Korean company effortlessly categorized as a smartphone rather the Dell Streak, which is categorized by Dell as a tablet rather than a phone.

Called as the Pantech Vega No. 5, the so called smartphone runs on the Android OS, probably Gingerbread. It also sports a 5" (480 x 800) touchscreen display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear facing camera, Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi.

The phone is expected to be available in the South Korean market this month (May). With regards to the device's exact date of launching and pricing, there is no word about it. So wait and see is the name of the game if you want to have a phone, like the Vega Racer, that ain't sporting a restricted processor.
