iPhone 5 to launch in September says Reuters

The iPhone 5, the next generation iPhone, was rumored to look just like the iPhone 4. The latest stuff we got from this chain of rumor, before this post, are 2 videos that showcased the iOS-to-be of the iPhone 5. Anyway, the traditional event for Apple to unveil a new iPhone is during their annual WWDC event and this year it will be happening in June. According to their invites, it seems that there will be no iPhone 5 happening during the event. But that does not mean that Apple will not announce an iPhone anytime this year.

Reuters have reported that in September, Apple will be announcing the iPhone 5 according to three sources.
"The publication cites three sources “with direct knowledge of the company’s supply chain” and adds that the updated iPhone will sport a “faster processor.” Reuters writes that Largan Precision Co Ltd will be responsible for the new device’s camera sensor, Wintek Corp for its touchscreen panel, and Foxconn Technology Co Ltd for case production. “The companies would begin production either in July or August before shipping components to Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd, flagship of Foxconn Technology Group, for assembly,” the site’s sources state." - BGR
A lot are pointing to the September launching. January of 2012 is also a time that is considered, but that would break Apple's tradition. Anyway, Whenever they will be announcing it, I will be writing about it.
