[Update] Google announces Android 2.3.4 to be coming in the "next few weeks"

Google have just announced Android 2.3.4 with its most noticeable feature, Google Talk. Oh ok, Google Talk is already in Android, it is actually the support for video calls that makes 2.3.4 unique. So, whenever there is a new version of Android, which device or devices get it first? Yup! The Google Nexus phones. But Google said that the newest version of Android will be rolled out in the "next few weeks" to Nexus S devices, maybe the Nexus One will get it soon.

Google made a video that explains how this new feature works on your Android devices.

The feature works with your 3G/4G or WiFi network allowing you to do video chatting or voice calls using Google Talk while on the go. I'll keep you posted when the Nexus S gets the update just like what Google said. So stay tuned.

Update: Google have clarified stuff with regards to the Android 2.3.4 update. Via a Tweet, Google said that you will be receiving the update if you are running on Android 2.3.1, 2.3.2, or 2.3.3.
