Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am posting about the Motorola Atrix 4G again, I just can't let this go. We already know what the Atrix 4G packs inside it and what it can do. But what it can do with the help of some stuff here and there is something I have not mentioned in my previous post about the device.
Since the device has 1 GB of RAM and a 1 GHz dual-core processor thanks to an nVidia Tegra2 then as what you might have been thinking, this smartphone is capable of powering a PC, isn't it? Well that is just what Motorola wants you to experience courtesy of a dock.
This is just one of the two docks specific for the Motorola Atrix 4G. The first one is a dock that will allow you to connect your phone to any LCD screen you have around. But what is interesting is that the dock with the phone, of course, does not only give you the choice of viewing videos, photos, and whatever media you might have on the screen but the..."Output from the dock provides a desktop-like experience on the secondary monitor, allowing you to access both the Android platform and, in a first for a mobile device, allows access to a desktop-grade version of Firefox. Coupled with a mouse and keyboard, this allows for true web access from your docked mobile phone." - BGR
The second dock, as what you see in the photo above, is a dock that will give you a laptop like experience with the Motorola Atrix 4G. This dock, a CPU-less laptop and relies mainly on the phone for it's CPU and whatnots will definitely give you a much different experience.
By simply putting the smartphone into the dock's phone dock you can basically transform the smartphone into a mobile computer, literally. The dock provides you with 2 USB ports for your peripherals like a mouse maybe, a flash drive, or whatever you have there maybe?
