Cisco unveiled the Linksys E4200 dual-band router

You love Linksys' design of their antenna-less wireless routers, you know those routers that look like spaceships, right? They have ramped up the design with the unveiling of the latest dual-band wireless router they just unveiled, the Linksys E4200.

The last dual-band router I knew from Linksys was the WRT600N, it was basically an N router that was able to broadcast two WiFi signals. One is an N network and the other is a G network. With that knowledge, I think the E4200 is of the same concept. But what is great with this router compared to the WRT600N is that this boasts speeds of a whopping 450 Mbps.

Based on the photo, the router supports USB connections, you know, those ISPs that use a modem with USB jack on them. Going back to the speed of it all. The router is able to offer you speeds of 450 Mbps with the 5 GHz band (N) and up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band (G). The router has 4 ethernet ports, 1 internet port, a reset button, USB port, power cord port, and that little blue button with two arrows that's circular is, I think, a power cycle button, and of course, do not forget the majestic design of the device.

As for the pricing, well this router is targeted for the high-end market and is marked with a tag price of $179.99 and is currently available at Best Buy.
