Skyfire is live at Apple's App Store

Rememer Skyfire? You should. It's the only way you can enjoy Flash-based videos on your iDevice! And it is now available over at Apple's App Store!

The technology they have developed is not actually allowing your Apple device to support Flash, forcefully, it wouldn't have been approved by Apple if that was the case, it's clear, that they really will not support Flash on their devices, right? So what did Skyfire do to bring Flash based movies into your iOS device and play them flawlessly?

Well, it's somehow simple, they download the Flash movies into their servers and then converts them into HTML 5 which can be played then into your iOS devices. Unfortunately, the application only works with videos and not any other types of Flash content, like games and whatnot. You can only watch the videos on, of course, the Skyfire browser. Watch it outside Skyfire, and you might run in to some problems or not even able to play them.

So get yours now! It will be offered for an "introductory price" of $2.99. Since it's an introductory price expect it to cost more if you get it later.
