Earlier, Facebook unveiled new things they have for their Facebook Mobile experiences. A lot of Facebook's partners were there explaining to the audience the new apps they have which is equally the same as the Facebook Places app.

"iPad's not mobile... it's a computer" says Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, was I think the climax of the Mobile Event earlier. When asked, what about the iPad in terms of it's own Facebok App, let alone Facebook Places, that was his answer.

Anyway, Facebook unveiled new things on their Facebook mobile experience, Single Sign-on was one. Which basically eliminates the need for you to enter your username and password everytime you use your handset to get into Facebook.

The other thing that;s new is Facebook's introduction of Deals. It's an app that business establishments can use. Which allows them to offer their customer's who checks in with deals like discounts, freebies, and whatnots.

They have also mentioned the need for the Facebook Places app in more and more devices, which is only available on an iPhone. Android will also get an app for it, and maybe other OS-es. To learn more about their new Facebook mobile features and the Deals, app click on the appropriate source links below. Videos are also in their blog to explain further the new things they have for their users.
