Skyfire allows you to watch Flash based videos on your Apple devices

Steve Jobs made everything clear about Apple's relationship with Adobe Flash. He said that they will not be supporting Flash on any iOS device. This is said to be one of the downfall of the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. Until Skyfire did something which ultimately Apple approved on.

Skyfire has been hard at work with Apple to bring Flash technology into the iOS devices. Worked hard they did, this coming Thrusday you can get the Skyfire App from the App Store for $2.99 starting at 9am.

The technology they have developed is not actually allowing your Apple device to support Flash, forcefully, it wouldn't have been approved by Apple if that was the case, it's clear, that they really will not support Flash on their devices, right? So what did Skyfire do to bring Flash based movies into your iOS device and play them flawlessly?

Well, it's somehow simple, they download the Flash movies into their servers and then converts them into HTML 5 which can be played then into your iOS devices. Unfortunately, the application only works with videos and not any other types of Flash content, like games and whatnot. You can only watch the videos on, of course, the Skyfire browser. Watch it outside Skyfire, and you might run in to some problems or not even able to play them.

So are you ready to spend 2 dollars just for your Apple device to play Flash based video contents?
