Samsung to unveil 7 inch Super AMOLED displays at FDP International

Wait let me refresh you all why Samsung chose to put a Super TFT LCD display on their Galaxy Tab which is not what everyone expected. Even, I was expecting for the South Korean powerhouse to install their latest and one of the best screen technology in the Galaxy Tab, the Super AMOLED technology, which we can see in their Galaxy S line of smartphones.

They said, back at the IFA, that because the Super AMOLED screens did not comply to a much higher battery consumption standard for the Galaxy Tab they were pushed to choose their Super TFT display which is said to be developed along side the Super AMOLED screens.

Good news, though, Samsung will be showcasing 7" Super AMOLED display at the FDP International expo. THe 7" Super AMOLED packs a higher screen resolution than it's 4" counterpart, which has a 1200 x 600 screen reso and is expected to be mass produced in 2011 when " 5.5 gen plant starts" it's operation. Not only is the 7" will be unveiled but also a 14" Transparent display, 4.52" WVGA Flexible display, On-Cell WVGA LCD display, and Dual play game mode display.

This is what I like with Samsung, they will always push forward in an industry that they already master. Discovering new things and giving consumers better and wider choices. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for their Super TFT Galaxy Tab.
