[Local] Smart offers the Samsung Galaxy Tab for free at plan 3000

The Samsung Galaxy Tab, the "true competitor of the iPad", is confirmed to be offered in the Philippines. Our trusty bloggers at Techie has confirmed that the tablet will be offered by Smart Communications and will come free with a 3000 Plan, that's Unlimited Data.

Rumored to be coming in the Philippines, The Galaxy Tab is the "true competitor of the iPad", running on Android 2.2 Froyo. The Tab also is one, if not the most, anticipated Android tablet to land on Earth. Anyway, here in the Philippines, Samsung nor Smart have not yet disclosed the retail price of the said device, yet and I hope that comes soon, so for now when the tablet comes into the Philippine shores the only way you can officially get it is through Smart.

Smart also offers the Tab with their 1500 and 2000 plans but of course you still need to pick through your pocket and shell out Php 16,000 and Php 4,000 respectively. Unless they give us the official retail price then that's the time we can truly say if those offers from Smart is all worth it. For now, I think we just have to stick to what they are offering us.
