Ah, Google, the search engine giant, has been churning a working Operating System to put in the market. Well, news haven't been to kind with the Chrome OS because only rumors and leaks of notebooks (Acer) are the only thing that we receive from it. Today, we add another rumor to the pile.
DigiTimes is reporting that Google, with it's initial manufacturing partner Inventec, might be shipping netbooks with Google Chrome OS power early this month. The report also said that HP and Acer will be launching their Googe Chrome OS offerings in December. Acer has been leaked many times. With a notebook running on the said OS, this might be a rumor with a good foundation, so we'll see what happens in the future.
“The Google Chrome notebook will feature an ARM-based platform and will not be selling through retail channels,” reports DigiTimes.
