Apple holds 95% of the global tablet market share


According to a report by Strategy Analytics, Apple's share on the global market for tablets is at a staggering 95% for the July to September quarter. Truly, Apple has made a difference in the tablet market even if their have been tablet computers way back then. When it launched the iPad, everyone is amazed with a radical new way to do personal computing.

Taking note of Apple's success with it's iPad other computer manufacturers are readying themselves to release their own versions of a tablet computer. The likes of HP, Samsung, & Acer.

The total market have grown from 3.5 million t 4.4 million tablets said the research. Other operating systems like Android, Windows, RIM's BlackBerry, and HP Palm's WebOS have a lot of catching up to do. But the research also said that their shares for the other platforms will rise during this quarter. 
"We expect Android's share to rise in the fourth quarter as more models, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab, enter the market,"
