Google's gigantic Gingerbread man on their HQ stands tall and proud but wondering when the Android Gingerbread (the product it represents) is going to be released. Google is apparently yet to officially set the release date oft he next Android version. Rumors have been floating around saying that it will be released within this year. The latest says that the Software Development Kit (SDK) of Android (allegedly the 2.3 version) Gingerbread will be released Thursday next week, November 11th. It's coincidentally the same date that Samsung will announce a new Android device. If true, then what will be the first smartphone or device to get this Android Gingerbread version? The Nexus Two (rumored)? or is it an existing smartphone that'll get an OTA update for this? If so, which one? And then we wait.
