And then Acer debuts their 10.1 inch Windows 7 based tablet

While we were all busy with Acer's Global press event where devices from a dual-touch screen laptop, Android tablet, and a humongous smartphone, Acer have debuted a different tablet, with a press release, mind you. This tablet, though, runs on Windows 7 in a black motif and is a 10.1" device.

The tablet comes with that keyboard dock, great, aimed to "enhance the user experience". The tablet is thin, Acer said, 15mm and is less than a kilogram in weight. What's breathing in the device is an AMD based "platform". Two cameras will be embedded on the tablet both are 1.3MP, front and rear facing. It comes with 3G support and WiFi, for your internet connectivity needs and whatnots. This device will be available on February of 2011.
"Interaction, connecting, sharing and mobility. Welcome to the Acer tablet."
This device, like all the other devices unveiled during the Acer Global press event, is still unnamed.
