iPhone 4S? Support for CDMA channel

We all know that the iPhone 4 in the US is exclusively available only over at AT&T, right? But rumors have already been floating around about an iPhone that would be over at Verizon. Verizon, unlike AT&T, has the CDMA channel, hence the rumor that Apple might be creating an iPhone 4S (The S is for the CDMA).

The iPhone 4S is said to be in partnership with Pegatron, the same company who will be manufacturing the also rumored HTC tablet. But this is not the main concern with my post over here.

Is this really what Apple is all about? Launching a not so complete featured device and then launch another device to fill the gap? Are we seeing another iPhone 3G and 3Gs? Or the first iPad (WiFi) and then came iPad 3G and then both (WiFi + 3G)? And talking about the iPad wait for my next post about. Yes, another rumor, for another iPad within next year.

Steve Jobs is touted to be the master in marketing. But, we really have to see the pattern.
