Another tablet but this time from HTC running on Android 3.0

HTC is rumored to be creating a tablet. This should not come as a surprise since almost all consumer electronics company have announced or released, with the case of Samsung, their own tablets, if not released by the 4th quarter this year, in early 2011.

DigiTimes have gathered this much information about this tablet from HTC. A 1280 x 720 pixel touch screen display, but no mention of the size of the tablet but basing on the screen resolution it should be a 10 inch tablet. Connectivity features are, WiFi and Bluetooth. A 32GB solid state drive and 2GB ROM. It is also rumored to be running on Android 3.0 Gingerbread just like what Motorola and Acer are planning to or at least rumored to manufacture.

The tablet will be manufactured by Pegatron, a Taiwanese design and manufacturing company who is also rumored to be manufacturing the iPhone 4S, which will have the CDMA capability. Now the price tag. The tablet is also rumored to cost at around $790 which is a bit less than that of the iPad's most expensive variant, the iPad 64GB WiFi + 3G.
