HTC officially released a video of the Desire HD showing off its cool and I mean cool features! So cool that you'd think your current phone is Medieval.
What really struck me is how HTC solved problems we commonly encounter with our phones. Ringing, is always a hassle. To change from profile to profile every time we are in a specific location or room. But HTC is so brilliant they covered that up.
When your phone rings, it rings and that's it. But what if your phone is tucked in your bag or somewhere you wouldn't hear your phone ring with its current setting? Well, because HTC is so brilliant, the phone wll automatically recognize when it is in a spot where you wouldn't hear it ring, like inside your bag, or on your pocket in a noisy alley, it will ring loud enough for you to hear that someone is calling you. Cool right? Well, that's not the end of it.
What if you set your phone to ring at its loudest and you forgot to change the setting and you are in a closed door meeting and then your phone suddenly rings on the table while your boss is discussing something? That'd be so embarrassing right? HTC also got that covered. When your phone rings your instinct would immediately tell you to turn it off or to reject the call. Well, not anymore. In the event your phone rings, pick it up! The phone will automatically lower its ringing volume and when you flip it over and put it on the table it will completely be silent. COOL?
