Asus announced the Transformer Pad Infinity, MeMo Pad FHD10, and the MeMo Pad HD7

Aside from the Asus Fonepad Note FHD6, their first phablet, the Taiwanese phone maker announced three Android tablets at Computex 2013. First we have the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity, which is basically an update to last year's  Pad Infinity. The tablet runs on Android of unknown version and sports a brilliant 10.1" (2560x1600) IPS display. Other specs include a 1.9GHz NVidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor with a 72-core GeForce GPU, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, an SDCard slot, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, a 5MP rear facing camera, and a 1.2MP front facing camera.

 

PHIL: Asus officially launches the Transformer Pad 300 and Pad Infinity

Pad Infinity

Asus has officially launched, in the Philippines, two new Android tablets. These are the Asus Transformer Pad Infinitiy (Photo: above) and the Pad 300 (Photo: after the break). Both run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and both were unveiled during MWC 2012. The big differences between the two are the CPUs and the kind of screen used. The Pad Infinity sports a 1.6GHz nVidia Tegra 3 processor and a 10.1" Full HD (1920x1200) Super IPS display. The Pad 300 on the other hand sports a 1.2GHz nVidia Tegra 3 processor and a 10.1 (1280x800) IPS display.

Asus Transformer line of tablets getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean "in the coming months"

Asus had announced that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will come to the Transformer Pad, Transformer Pad Prime, and the Transformer Pad Infinity. Like HTC's announcement, Asus is a bit vague in terms of when exactly the update will be pushed but at unlike HTC, Asus said that it is scheduled to be pushed "in the coming months". MWC 2012: The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity

Asus, aside from the PadFone, announced the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity. The tablet is basically the Transformer Prime but with revisions here and there. I was not able to post about a Transformer Prime that was said to be like a "repaired" version of the first Prime. According to Endgadget, this is that tablet. Asus did not mention anything about when the device will be available and how much it will be priced. Anyway, head over the break for the specs and press release.
