AT&T have already released the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread update to the Samsung Infuse 4G. It was already released a while already, which I apologize for reporting late. Anyway, the update was available starting in February 1 and you can download the update here (instructions included). Head over the break for the things that you should be expecting from the update.

UK: Motorola Defy Mini available for pre-order in the UK for £174.99
Clove is now offering the recently announced Motorola Defy Mini on pre-order for only £174.99 (VAT included) unlocked. The price does not compete with high-end smartphones out there simply because the Defy Mini is a mid-rang handset. As the name suggests, it is a smaller version of the same rugged Defy+. For those who wants top pre-order their Defy Minis head over to Clove, the online retailer is expected to receive the first stock of the handset in late February or early March.

USA: AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket receives Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread update
AT&T has apparently, according to UberGizmo, started to push an OTA update to the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. After being launched recently by AT&T, the carrier has already pushed the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread update for their version of the Galaxy S II. Since its an OTA update your Skyrocket should notify you for a new software available for download but if you are hesitant, you can check it manually by tapping through Settings > Software Update. The said version of the platform is to fix a bug with regards to voice search on the Nexus S but the reason for this update coming to the Skyrocket is unknown. For those who are already running this version of Android on their Skyrocket, your input on the comments section is appreciated.

T-Mobile Nexus S is also getting the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread update
T-Mobile's Google Nexus S is also reported that it has, too, received the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread update, oh well it has to. The update is via OTA so you should receive a notification for a newer software available for your Nexus S. The update is also 17.2MB in size and should bring in bug fixes and some security tweaks.

Googles pushes Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread to the Samsung Nexus S
Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread is said to have been starting to make rounds to the Samsung Nexus S. The update, which will be administered OTA, is expected to fix the voice search bug on the smartphone. For those who are having trouble with their voice search on their Nexus Ss then hold on tight because the update is near you. Endgadget have reported that the update has not yet arrived on their devices even after manually checking for it but Google have said that it has been pushed and should make its way into every Nexus S.
