HTC and DropBox gives 25GB of free online storage on their smartphones

HTC and DropBox has increased the online storage capacity to those who will be getting the new HTC One line of smartphones. As a standard, DropBox will be giving HTC One V, One S, and the One X owners a free 25GB cloud storage which lasts for 2 years when these smartphones will be available in the UK come April.

As further explained by Pocket-Lint, the new deal will only be available for these three new smartphones and is expected to be offered to new smartphones just not to existing HTCs. DropBox is currently offering a 50GB online storage subscription for $50, so if you get a new HTC One and the 2-years expires, you'd probably be asked to subscribe with DropBox if you want to continue using the service. Which I think is not good for those who really uses cloud storage services. I just do not know what will happen to your files uploaded to the cloud if you decide to not continue the service.

Anyway, this is good news! 25GB free online storage is not bad considering that HTC has started to ditch support for microSD cards.
