At IFA 2011 a lot of Ultrabooks were showcased. This new chipset from Intel will give computer manufacturers the ability to make their laptops thin. The first Ultrabook that was announced a few weeks back was Asus's Eee PC UX21 which resembles a lot of the MacBook Air. Aside from that, Lenovo also showcased their own version of an Ultrabook, the Lenovo IdeaPad U300s.

The Toshiba Portege Z830 will be sporting an Intel Core i7 chipset and will only be 0.63 inch (16mm) thin at 2.5lbs light. The laptop will also be given an 8-cell 47Wh battery, a 13.3" display, an ethernet port, HDMI and VGA ports. a microSD card slot is also available, a 3 USB ports (2 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0), audio in and out, and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.
