Samsung announced during IFA 2011 in Berlin an Android powered Music Player. The Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 will be added into Samsung's Android powered PMPs along side the Galaxy S WiFi 4 and 5. Like Samsung's Android powered PMP, the Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 will directly compete with Apple's iPod Touch. It has all the things in a Galaxy smartphone sans the phone capabilities.

I know the specs are very limited and like you I hate when that happens. Anyway, for the pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 is already confirmed that be arriving in the British market in early October and will be priced at £149 for the 8GB and £169 for the 32GB version.
