USA: Sprint announces the launch date of the BlackBerry Torch 9850 & Bold 9930 - August 21st

Sprint has officially announced the availability of two new BlackBerry smartphones to be added into their BB smartphone portfolio. These are the BlackBerry Torch 9850 and the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930. These smartphones are scheduled to be launched come August 21st.

Sprint is putting a $149.99 tag price on the BlackBerry Torch 9850. That price will require you to sign with Sprint a 2-year contract (apparently). This smartphone is RIM's first full-touchscreen smartphone without that "Sure Type" technology they have with the BlackBerry Storm.

The BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 will be priced over at Sprint for $249.99 which is exactly the same price that Verizon is offering the same smartphone.

The two BlackBerries will be available via Sprint's online store, in Sprint Business Sales, and on the phone via Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1.
