USA: Verizon Wireless officially makes the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 available for $249.99

Verizon officially makes the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 available from their stores! The US' largest network carrier is offering BlackBerry's first touch and type smartphone for $249.99 with a 2-year contract. If you don't like contracts then you can get the BB 9930 outright for $509.99. Verizon, launched the device silently, and that is something that is something very unfortunate. Anyway, they might announce it at some other time, which will make it awkward.

Head over to Verizon's website to check out their offer.

As a refresher the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 will be running on RIM's latest most up to date platform, BlackBerry OS 7, a 1.2GHz single-core processor, a 2.8" VGA touchscreen display, 768MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage,  WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microSD card slot for external and extra storage.

In the UK, the BB Bold Touch 9900 is also available via Vodafone UK.
