Ok, here is the deal. When Techie reported about the BlackBerry Playbook's pre-order status over at Smart, I did not blog about it immediately because the link they posted was still not yet available or it was still down. Until I checked it earlier. The site or the page is now officially up and you can now sign up if you want to pre-order RIM's tablet challenger.

The BlackBerry PlayBook is available for free starting with these following plans, Plan 3000 and Plan 4000. But that is not yet the deal. Smart is actually throwing a BlackBerry smartphone when you get the PlayBook from them. You will get the BB Pearl 9105 3G with Plan 3000 and the BB Torch 9800 with Plan 4000.
A good deal, I should say. Your PlayBook should work perfectly well with either of these smartphones that you will get for free if you pre-order the tablet. I am not sure if this will be what Smart offer forever (or until the PlayBook's production stops).
