IND: [Updated] Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 750 and 730 in India


Samsung in India have announced two tablets for the Indian market which is scheduled to be launched by the end of this month and by next month. These tablets, called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 ad the 730 are actually the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (750) and the Tab 8.9 (730). All the specs will be the same like the thinness of the devices and the processors running on them its just that the names are changed, for reasons I do not know why.



The Galaxy Tab 750 is given the tag price of Rs. 36,200 for a 16GB internal storage. It should be launched by the end of this month according to Samsung. For the Galaxy Tab 730 it will be priced for only Rs. 33,990 also for the 16GB tablet. The Galaxy Tab 730 should be launched sometime in mid-September.

[Update] In Samsung's announcement of the arrival of the Galaxy Tabs in India, the Korean-based company said that the WiFi-only variants of the devices will not be sold in India. Samsung said that they wanted the owners of the Galaxy Tabs to get full internet connectivity hence, the decision not to sell the WiFi-only version of these tablets.
