USA: T-Mobile announces the Samsung Exhibit 4G and the Gravity Smart


T-Mobile USA have officially made two smartphones by Samsung official. These are the Samsung Exhibit 4G and the Samsung Gravity Smart. Two new Android smartphones that are so distinct from each other that we need to take them one at a time. The Samsung Exhibit (photo above) was leaked days before it got official and that is the first phone we will be talking about.

Both the Exhibit and the Gravity Smart, by the way, will be offered by T-Mobile for less than $100 after a $50 mail-in rebate and of course that is tied with a 2-year contract with the carrier.

Samsung Exhibit 4G specs:
  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread
  • 1GHz processor
  • 3.7" (480 x 800) touchscreen display (not official)
  • 3MP rear facing camera
  • A front facing camera
  • WiFi 
  • Bluetooth
  • GPS
  • 4G connectivity

The other phone that got announced is the Samsung Gravity Smart. A smartphone that features a sliding full QWERTY keyboard but runs on Android 2.2 Froyo.

  • Undisclosed processor
  • 3.2" touchscreen display
  • 3MP rear facing camera
    • LED flash
    • Digital Zoom
  • Physical sliding QWERTY keyboard
With regards to the availability of the phones, T-Mobile is scheduled to launch these phones within the month of June.
