Recently, Sony Ericsson announced that they have started rolling out the 2.3.3 Gingerbread update to their Xperia line of devices (click link) which brings in not only the latest version of Android for smartphones to the devices but also the Facebook Inside Xperia experience. Vodafone UK is, I think, the first carrier to push the updates to their customer's Xperia Plays and Arcs. The update is not via OTA which means that in order for you to get the update you need to connect your device via USB cable to your computers and use Sony Ericsson's application for desktops.
